Bryan R. Farris  -  Co-Founder/President. Bryan R. Farris is the President of Ridgeland Operating Company which he founded with Gary Lawyer to explore for and acquire oil and gas reserves after having sold out of another oil and gas company that he co-founded. Mr. Farris is also the owner and President of Farris & Associates, P.C. Farris & Associates concentrates its practice on mergers & acquisitions, capital financing, oil and gas and securities. Mr. Farris has years of experience in the areas of securities, oil and gas and capital financing. Mr. Farris graduated from J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. Mr. Farris also received a Bachelors of Arts degree from Utah State University Cum Laude and with Honors in Economics.

Gary F. Lawyer  -  Co-Founder/Vice President. Exploration, Production & Development. Mr. Lawyer has been involved in the oil and gas business for over 35 years. He began his career with Exxon, where he worked in different capacities, including district production geologist, research, production and exploration liaison, drilling and evaluation geologist, and senior geologist, from 1970 to 1978. From 1978 to 1980, Mr. Lawyer was employed by Southland Oil Company as a senior exploration geologist. From 1980 to 1982, he served as vice president of exploration for Carbonit, a private Dutch company. He was employed as executive vice president of exploration of Amberex, from 1982 to 1984. From 1984 to 1991, he was president and a director of Exploration Methods, Inc., a Colorado corporation founded by Mr. Lawyer and acquired by Energetics in 1987. Since 1991, Mr. Lawyer has been President and a director of Geosense, Inc. a private Colorado company that provides consulting and project management services for oil and gas exploration activities all over the world. Mr. Lawyer earned a Bachelor of Science degree from BYU in 1970 and a Master of Science degree from BYU in 1971. He has undertaken additional graduate work at both the Colorado School of Mines, and Tulane University. Mr. Lawyer is an AAPG Certified Petroleum Geologist.

Ridgeland has an exploration team consisting of world-class geologists, geophysicists, landmen, attorneys, engineers and geo-technicians. The team is responsible for analysis; geological and geophysical evaluation, prospect generation, reserve reports, well site supervision, field optimization studies, geophysical reprocessing; regional studies and engineering services, including reservoir and drilling engineering, reservoir simulation, reservoir characterization, project management services, economics analysis, enhanced oil recovery, tight gas sands, and optimization projects.

Using the knowledge, skills and resources of Ridgeland and its technical assets, the company will have a high probability of achieving its goals of adding significant economic reserves through exploratory drilling and acquisition of producing properties.
